Matchplay is handicapped. If your handicap decreases you play off the lower number. If it increases you play off the handicap you qualified on. We use the universal match play index located on the back of our scorecards.
You may play your match during competition time, however, in accordance with the R&A you are not permitted to play in the comp of the day.
